Sam Knight, a Guildhall School of Music graduate, collaborates with esteemed European artists, including Maria Rehakova, Giuseppe Pucciarelli, Felix Rabin, Ester Wiesnerova and Elephant Talk. These collaborations have led to international tours across the UK, Europe and Mexico.

Beyond saxophone performance, Sam plays roles in composition, production and providing musical guidance. He notably co-produced the soft-rock band The Goodbye Look. Additionally, he frequently records saxophone and vocals for global artists, refining his home recording techniques since 2020.

Sam’s dedication to musical excellence and personal growth during the pandemic culminates in his debut album, ‘Knight Life.’ This album showcases his evolved and refined musical skills, making him a versatile and accomplished artist.

Sam Knight, a dedicated musician, was inspired by his parents’ music collection, which featured The Carpenters, Elton John, Queen, Mozart, Gilbert & Sullivan and Chopin. He started learning piano at age 4 but soon shifted his focus to the saxophone, setting his career path by age 10.

His musical journey began at Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama (RWCMD) Saturday School, followed by two transformative years at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester. In 2014, Sam enrolled at the renowned Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, specialising in Jazz Performance on the saxophone and graduating with 1st Class Honours in 2018.

Throughout his studies, Sam collaborated with esteemed artists in London’s vibrant music scene, including Giuseppe Pucciarelli, Felix Rabin, Ester Wiesnerova, Elephant Talk, and as a member of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. He also co-produced the soft-rock band The Goodbye Look. Sam’s musical journey extends beyond performance, encompassing writing, recording, producing and teaching music. Sam often embarks on international tours, captivating audiences across Europe and Mexico.

Despite pandemic challenges, Sam remains dedicated to advancing his musicianship and is preparing to release his debut album, ‘Knight Life,’ in 2023.
